Why You Should Prepare Now!
I believe the old saying is that “The early bird catches the worm.” Well, the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) must agree with this proverbial saying. IATA recently released a downloadable version of Appendix H of the 62nd Edition of the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) ahead of its 2023 mandatory deadline. For those of you who are unaware of why this may be important, Appendix H of the 62nd Edition covers the new competency-based training standards. While you have time to prepare for this, you would be wise to take a page from Benjamin Franklin who said “Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.”
