Shipping Infectious Substances & Dry Ice Training – DOT 49CFR & IATA DG
This course is customized to DOT and IATA regulations for Infectious Substances and Dry Ice Shipper Training, and prepares the student to identify, classify, package, mark, label and document infectious substances. Students who successfully complete this course will receive DOT and IATA training certification that meets the requirements of both 49 CFR 172.704 and IATA subsection 1.5.
This course provides both initial and recurrent training for hazmat & DG employees involved in Shipping Infectious Substances and Dry Ice.
- Requirements for preparing Class 6, Division 6.2 Infectious Substances and Class 9 Dry Ice for ground transportation in accordance with the DOT and IATA regulations

This course provides training for IATA 7.1 Personnel Responsible for Preparing Dangerous Goods and DOT 49CFR 172.704 Subpart h training.
- Anyone whose consignments consist solely or primarily of Class 6.2 dangerous goods which are transported by motor vehicle or aircraft

Our webinars are live webinars conducted by an instructor over the computer using a webinar software. Our webinars are private to you and/or your trainees. We setup a date and time that works for both you and our instructor. Our webinars are conducted Monday – Friday. Saturdays are at an additional cost.

We can customize the content to a few of the hazards you are shipping. We would need you to provide the SDS’s of the hazmats that you are shipping and the quantities you are shipping them in. From there we will customize the content to what you are shipping, so the training is relevent to what you are shipping.
