UPDATE! PHMSA: Extension of Comment Period
They Really Want to Know
You may recall in July; the Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) released an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) seeking comments on 46 topics related to modernizing regulations to improve safety and efficiency. The original deadline for comment was set for October 3, 2023, however, PHMSA recently published their ANPRM extending the deadline an extra 60 days to December 4, 2023.
