      • Categories DOT
      • Date January 20, 2014

Any shipper of a hazardous material (HazMat)  is required to provide the correct hazard communication methods, in order to identify the potential hazards posed by the material being transported.

At TCA, our DOT (Department of Transportation) Hazardous material training is divided into two categories –

      • DOT Non Bulk Training
      • DOT Bulk training

What is DOT Non Bulk Training?

DOT Non Bulk training enables trainees to obtain the general and required information about handling hazardous products, packaging and labeling the same.

Apart from this, the training also educates the candidates on proper documentation of hazardous goods, which is vital.

Who Needs DOT Non Bulk Training?

The following personnel will need DOT Non Bulk Training –

      • Hazardous waste workers
      • Shipping personnel
      • Receiving personnel
      • Lab personnel
      • Truck drivers
      • Department supervisors

      What is DOT  Bulk Training?

Our DOT Bulk Training is mainly required by truck drivers and tank car personnel since they handle heavy materials especially while loading and unloading.

It is crucial to take DOT Tank Car or Cargo Tank Training for people who handle hazardous materials.

      • On-site training for DOT Hazmat Tank Truck and Car is available for Loading and Unloading materials
