In the trend of â€œnew year, new fill in the blank,â€ the International Air Transport Association (IATA) issued an Addendum to the 62nd Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and gives guidance for vaccine operations and delivery. The 62nd DGR went into effect January 1, 2021 and are based on the International Civil Aviation Organizationâ€™s Technical Instruction (ICAO TI) which also went into effect January 1, 2021. Not to be outdone, the ICAO also just released their own addendum to the 2020-2021 Technical Instructions which can be viewed below.
