      Knowledge is Power

Many of us must have them and file them each year to help keep employers accountable and employees safe. What is it you ask? None other than the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses logs. Recently on April 18, 2024, the Department of Labor (DOL) released its 2023 injury and illness data. This data includes:

      • Submissions from more than 375,000 establishments,
      • Partial data from more than 850,000 OSHA Form 300 and 301 records; and
      • Includes employers with over 100 employees or more in select high hazard industries.

This data is crucial in the fight to keep employees safe. Employers and employees alike can use this data to help identify unsafe conditions and workplace hazards. Thus reducing injuries and illnesses through prevention and control efforts. To view the data and the years prior you can click HERE NOW!
