EPA: Request For Nomination

Have you ever thought to yourself, how do people get on these boards that make decisions and policies that affect our day-to-day jobs? If you have, then this recently published notice from The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) may interest you. The EPA invites the public to nominate candidates to be considered for a three-year appointment to the Hazardous Waste manifest System Advisory Board (Board). It is the intention of the EPA to select candidates to fill current and potential vacancies in the following positions:
- An industry representative member with experience in using or representing users of the manifest system; and
- State representative member responsible for processing manifests.
