Eric started his hazardous materials career as a Fire Fighter in the U.S. Air Force where he became certified as a Hazardous Waste Technician/Firefighter. While serving in the USAF, he responded to multiple military and civilian hazardous materials incidents both stateside and abroad.

After separating from the military, Eric received his baccalaureate in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State, graduating Suma Cum Lade. Since graduating he has become certified in CEHSP, CAS, CHMT, and PSM.
