TRAINING REMINDER
IATA CBTA COUNTDOWN
As the end of year approaches at what feels like the speed of light, we continually want to ensure our customers and potential customers are up to date with company news, industry trends, and most importantly, regulation changes. As such, if you have not already heard, beginning January 1, 2023, if you have not completed your initial or recurrent training prior to January 1, 2023, you will fall under the International Air Transport Associations’ (IATA) new Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) program.
We wanted to make sure you are aware of this new change, as your current access under the old standard of training whether on-line, live private webinars, or on-site will be shut down starting January 1, 2023. Again, that is not to say you will not have access to those methods anymore, it simply means you will fall under the new standards beginning January 1, 2023.
Courses currently affected by the new change include (but not limited to) TCA’s:
- IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
- IATA Infectious Substances and Dry Ice
I am sure by now you’re freaking out a little bit, but fear not, we too are required to change over to the new way of training and will do our best to ensure we continues to deliver the same great training and compliance experience you have come to expect from TCA. Again, beginning January 1, 2023 we will continue to offer our online, live private webinars, and on-site training, but following the CBTA standards.
